I finally mustered the strength to throw away the Thanksgiving leftovers. The stuffing loses some of its original "oomph" after the sixth reheating. And enough with the cranberries, already.

Soup and salad from now til Christmas.

That is all.

I did that too yesterday, and I'm not going to sign my name to this confession, but I so wanted to make sure that I'd stop eating the orange/cranberry relish, which was delish, that I emptied an ashtray on top of it so I wouldn't get it out of the trash!!!

pssst, anony, I know who you are. But I won't tell. :)

And I made orange/cranberry relish too -- of all the cranberry options, it's always my pick for seconds and thirds, and... and then I toss it, and cover it with coffee grounds or leftover gravy, whichever is most readily available.

Kathy: the stuffing would never make it to the sixth reheating around here. First of all, cold leftover stuffing is one of my all-time favorite foods. Second, after 2-3 times I guarantee you it is all gone.
